Light straw yellow in colour with green highlights, the nose is elegant and intense with complex aromas of white flowers, orange zest, lemon pulp and jellied quince. Gunflint aromas are also present which is a typical characteristic of the region. On the palate, the wine is light and soft, with flavors of lemon, green apple, grass, herbs, and melon whilst the extended finish leaves a lovely fresh minerality. Beautifully composed with a refreshing spark of acidity on the finish.
"Pale yellow. Vibrant aromas of lime zest, wet stone and white pepper. The first impression on the palate is that of nervous energy, with fine precision to the citrus and dusty mineral flavors. Taut in a classic Sancerre style, but with an inner balance that provides this sauvignon blanc with a certain distinction. Lively citrus flavors linger on the nicely focused, slightly edgy finish."
