The purest expression of the Sauvignon grape, the Baron de L is pale gold in colour with notes of pear, white peach, and classic Sauvignon flintiness on the nose. The palate brings a mineral complexity combined with herbaceous and gooseberry fruit and zesty acidity. A long finish with beautiful balance completes an elegant wine with the potential to age for ten years or more.

"Greenish yellow. Complex bouquet of apricot, yellow bell pepper and hay. Rich, generous and powerful, with a sweet core of fruit and harmonious acidity over a distinctly tight but fleshy structure. Peach, grapefruit and abundant wet stone linger long on the spicy aftertaste. This dry sauvignon blanc shows how well the variety can age."
